Sophos UTM: Neues Update (9.602-3)

Sophos hat ein neues Update für die UTM 9.6 veröffentlicht. Das Update hebt die Version der UTM auf 9.602-3 an. Die folgenden Probleme werden mit dem Update behoben:

  • [NUTM-10521]: [Logging] /tmp partition getting full when using livelog

  • [NUTM-10546]: [Wireless] Updating to 9.6 GA with REDw devices causes corrupt payload and AP becomes inactive

In der nächsten Zeit wird das Update per Up2Date ausgerollt. Wer nicht warten möchte, bis das Update von der UTM angeboten wird, kann es auch manuell runterladen und installieren. Hier findet sich der entsprechende Download Link:

Mit der Installation des Updates sollte nicht lange gewartet werden, denn es behebt teils kritische Sicherheitslücken. Hier noch ein Link des DFN-CERT:

  5. Auch in diesem Update leider noch immer Probleme mit RED 50. Firmware wird nicht an die RED 50 ausgerollt und sie landet in einer Verbindungsschleife. Update von 9.510-5 auf die 9.602-3.

    Offenbar bringt es bei einigen etwas, dass Firmware Update über die Shell zu unterbinden, sodass die RED 50 sich verbinden kann. Bei anderen hat es was genutzt, die MTU auf 1400 runter zu stellen. Beides hat mir leider nichts gebracht. Die RED 50 bleibt down.
