The faulty Update Rollup 8 for Exchange 2010 SP3 has been re-released in a corrected version. I was no longer able to reproduce the errors in my test environment. The update rollup 8 (KB2986475) for Exchange Server 2010 SP3 released yesterday seems to cause problems for Outlook. Currently there seems to be a bug in the Sophos UTM that prevents a TLS connection from being established. The log file of the sender's MTA then contains entries with the message "TLS handshake failed". Currently the SChannel Fix (KB2992611) seems to cause problems with SQL and IIS servers. Various sources report problems connecting from Chrome to IIS servers that have installed the update.
